I, like another reviewer of the book, wish that the author had elaborated more on the accomplishments rather than on grooming habits.
I had the privilege of rubbing shoulders with BC in the R&D division at Jyoti Ltd upon his return to India. Needless to say, it was not it in any metaphorical sense but just in the literal- in the elevators and stairways! It was then believed that he was being groomed to take over the reigns of the R&D unit in a short time(at the tender age of 28?) from, if my memory serves right, another Pilani alumnus.
Did Avtar Singh go to MIT as well?
