Can you please create a new group transferring all the members for the new group. The new group may be named after Golden jubilee 1966-71 BITS batch . The new group may be secured from Spam mails.

Yes I know the Bitsremember Yahoo group has been infiltrated by Spammers. I have tried to weed them out from time to time but the problem seems to be becoming worse.

I'm sorry it is disturbing you just as much as it is disturbing others. However I wish we could find a way of shutting out these spammers who are sabotaging our group instead of letting our group get eroded due to their attacks.

As the Moderator of this Group I can unsubscribe you as requested but I would be grateful if you could suggest some means of preserving this group and yet throwing out the spammers.
