This Opera-Style Indian Mashup Is So Good Even AR Rahman Couldn't Keep From Lauding It!



 AR Rahman is all praises for Natalie di Luccio. The Oscar winner congratulated the Italian-Canadian YouTuber for her recent fusion track.

Natalie is popular for making covers of Bollywood songs. In her latest video, she has collaborated with Rajasthani folk singer Sawan Khan Manganiyar. The due have come out with a unique song titled "A Dream In Rajasthan". The USP of the track is that it combines an Italian classic "Nella Fantasia" with Indian vocals. The magical song has been shot at the picturesque Jodhpur's Mehrangarh Fort. And why it catches our attention is because it speaks of spreading peace and love across borders.

The song caught AR Rahman's attention, who couldn't refrain from acknowledging the beautiful rendition. Natalie has performed with the music maestro at his live concerts in Bangalore, Nagpur, Mumbai and Dubai in 2011-2012. She also sang on the background score for the film Kadal, which was composed by Rahman.
